The only downside to extensions is that don’t last forever and ever. At best, they’ll fall off with your natural lashes. To properly maintain a healthy looking set, make sure to schedule tri-weekly refill sessions to ensure that the look is constantly full and beautiful.

Lash extensions can last a long time, but as the lash tech it will be your job to ensure that your product does what it is advertised to do. Lash with precision- take your time- make sure to secure each lash with the adhesive used and that it is in fact attached to avoid any pre-refill baldness.

Eyelash extensions are high-maintenance. You can’t rub your eyes with cotton swabs (bye, makeup remover), you have to comb them daily with a spoolie, and, according to crouch, you need to avoid glycol, an ingredient used at salons to remove extensions, like the plague. Unfortunately, glycol is found in a ton of makeup removers, soaps, and face washes, so check your labels carefully before slathering anything on your face.

Make sure you are routinely brushing your lashes and limit your direct contact with oily products like certain makeup removers, facial creams/lotions, face washes and soap.

Of course! But not until after the first 24hrs since the initial installment. The glue needs time to settle and properly attach the false lash to your own, so during the first day of being lashed, make sure you are limiting any direct contact of water to your eyes. When showering or washing your face, simply utilize a gentle rag to clean your eyes.

KEEP IN MIND – After the first 24hrs., your lashes are waterproof, however they are not water dependent, so be aware that the longevity of your lashes may be effected after the initial installment if they are constantly exposed to water.

They can last up to 2-4 weeks with proper care! Just be sure to adhere to the precautionary measures that need to be taken during the first 24 hrs. of being lashed and they should be okay.
